Looks
like
all
those
stories
about
Sanjay
Dutt"s
fallout
with
Sanjay
Gupta
are
not
unfounded
after
all.
Since
2002,
Dutt
and
Gupta
have
been
partners
at
White
Feather
Films,
which
has
produced
films
like
Kaante,
Musafir,
Zinda
and
Shootout
At
Lokhandwala.
Now,
however,
Dutt
is
going
to
fly
solo
with
his
own
production
house
called
Sanjay
Dutt
Productions
Private
Limited.
Says
a
source
close
to
Dutt,
“Sunil
Dutt
had
always
nursed
a
desire
to
revive
his
banner
Ajanta
Arts.
Now,
Sanju
will
merge
Ajanta
Arts
into
his
banner
and
hire
new
and
established
filmmakers
to
work
with
him.
The
plan
is
to
make
two
kinds
of
cinema
—
complete
masala
films,
and
the
films
that
Duttsaab
loved
making,
like
Muhje
Jeene
Do
and
Reshma
Aur
Shera,
which
had
lots
of
intensity
and
drama."
Family
affair
As
for
whether
Sanju
will
act
in
his
home
productions
or
not,
the
source
says,
“He
won"t
act
in
all
of
them,
that"s
for
sure.
However,
Sanju
has
almost
finalised
the
first
film.
The
script
is
awesome
and
we"re
sure
it"ll
be
a
hit."
According
to
the
source,
Sanju"s
sisters
Namrata
and
Priya
will
be
involved
in
the
production
house
too.
“It
will
be
a
family
affair.
The
banner"s
name
has
already
been
registered
and
all
the
Dutt
siblings
are
very
hands
on.
Sanju
feels
it"s
high
time
that
he
does
something
for
his
family," says
the
source.
Flying
solo
That
brings
us
to
the
big
question:
what
happens
to
Gupta"s
White
Feathers
Films
and
Dutt"s
partnership
with
him?
Says
the
source,
“Gupta
is
like
a
brother
to
Sanju,
so
if
he
wants
Sanju
to
act
in
his
films
he"ll
do
it.
However,
he
doesn"t
want
to
be
a
part
of
White
Feather
Films
any
longer
and
is
currently
sorting
out
the
legalities."
When
we
touch
base
with
Dutt,
he
confirms
the
new
launch
saying,
“It"s
true.
I"m
launching
Sanjay
Dutt
Productions
Private
Limited
and
it
will
be
a
family
affair,
but
it"s
too
early
to
talk
about
it.
I"ll
speak
when
the
time
is
right
as
I
want
to
launch
it
properly."
