Sanjay Dutt in Goa beach with Manyata

Sanjay Dutt has whisked his girlfriend/wife Manyata off for a romantic getaway to the serene beaches of Goa.

The couple are basking in each other"s company at The Leela which is set against the picturesque Mobor beach.

Say a source close to the couple, “It was a hectic week for the pair after Sanju came out of jail (November 29). Maana hadn"t been keeping well before a while, as she"d developed a severe throat infection.

Poor Maana"s life was in a mess and she was run off her feet when Sanju came home. There were guests dropping in all the time and Maana was running around playing the perfect hostess.

Also, she"s been cooking all the meals as Sanju loves her cooking and she was busy whipping up his favourite dishes, despite being unwell." Sanju noticed that she needed some quiet time and planned the break.

The source continues, “There wasn"t time for the couple to spend time on their own and Sanju realised that it was going to be impossible in Mumbai, so he decided to head to Goa. Both needed some R&R.

They flew to Goa in Balaji Rao"s (of Venky"s Chicken) private jet. Sanju needed to ease back into his schedule after his return from the jail and Maana needed a break from her work she has been looking after his office and production house when Sanju was away."

Pune calling

The couple will be staying for a week in Goa after which they will leave for Pune on December 8 to celebrate Sanjay Dutt"s close friend, Bala"s birthday. They will spend the weekend there and return to Mumbai on December 10.

Adds the source, “Once Sanju has taken a break, he will come back next week and start giving out dates for his next film like EMI and Kidnap."
