Shruti Seth is Yash Raj's favourite

Contrary to popular belief, it is not Rani Mukherjee, Kajol or Preity Zinta who is a favourite with Yash Raj Films. It is someone else altogether!

Want to play a little guessing game here? Well, she is a pretty girl who has already been seen in two biggies coming from India's premier production house and is all set to make a hat trick soon!

Still guessing? Let us drop some more hints. She was seen in Fanaa and later Ta Ra Rum Pum. In a few weeks time from now, she would again be seen in Jhoom Barabar Jhoom.

Well, she is none other than Shruti Seth, who has been fitting in well into the 'best friend' mould with every passing film coming from YRF. First she got a considerable amount of footage in Fanaa where she played Kajol's best friend. Later she repeated the act in Ta Ra Rum Pum, this time as Rani Mukherjee's best friend, though this time around her screen presence was restricted to 2-3 scenes.

Now it has to be seen that what's the kind of impression would she be able to make in Shaad Ali's Jhoom Barabar Jhoom where she is expected to play the best friend role yet again, this time opposite either Preity or Lara!

Shruti has acted in many serials such as 'Kyon Hota Hai Pyaar' and 'Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand' though she is most popular for her role in children/fantasy show 'Shararat' where she was seen with veteran Farida Jalal.
