Tanuja Chandra has an interesting and unique experience to look forward to on Women's Day this year. She has been invited to Milan, Italy with her film Hope and a Little Sugar, to be a part of the International Women's Film Festival there.
Says Chandra, "It's going to be very exciting for me to be a part of a gathering for which Italian female directors, actresses, technicians and women in powerful public, political and social positions assemble every year. Milan is city steeped in history and to show my film there, surrounded by Italian culture is very, very thrilling."
It's the fourteenth year of the festival called Sguardi Altrove, where Chandra's English film, which has already won accolades in New York, Goa and Karachi festivals, will be shown on March 8th.
