Naseeruddin, Anupam together in Wednesday

Last year, UTV had picked up Khosla Ka Ghosla from outside producers and results were there to be seen for everyone. The film was intelligently marketed and released with a gradual built up in hype which resulted in this Anupam Kher-Boman Irani film achieving a cult status in months to follow.

Though it has to be seen if Wednesday too would achieve a cult status, the least benefit it gains after being picked up by UTV is a good publicity and release. Produced by Anjum Rizvi and Shital Bhatia, the film is said to be a hard hitting drama based on some real incidents that shook the country very recently.

Directed by debutant Neeraj Pandey, the film is lead by a heavy weight starcast comprising of Naseruddin Shah and Anupam Kher along with Jimmy Shergill, Rajpal Yadav, Aamir Bashir, Deepal Shaw and Gaurav Kapoor.

The film may release in December this year.
