One can blindly trust Aamir Khan when it comes to doing unconventional things. After having sold (read 'promote') everything ranging from a mobile phone, to cola drinks to biscuits and watches, Mr. Perfectionist will be now selling 'India' to the world. To simply it further, Aamir has now been roped in as the Brand Ambassador by the Indian Tourism Ministry to be the face of its massive brand campaign 'Incredible India', with the initiative of showcasing India's rich heritage and culture and the famous message of 'Athithi Devo Bhava' (Guest is God).
What's really heartening to know is the fact that Aamir, who is known for his whopping remunerations as a Brand Ambassador, has agreed to do this campaign for free. Though the details of the campaign are still being worked on, Aamir is very happy to be a part of this campaign and said that if there are some discrepancies that obstruct our country's hospitality, then, we should take steps to sensitise people. Aamir also added that we should ensure that those who visit our country must be protected and that we, as Indians, should make them feel at home and ensure that that they have a good time and come back again.
We are sure that with Aamir at the helm of things for tourism promotions, the tourists will definitely come back asking for more. What say Aamir!
