Amrita
Arora
who's
normally
seen
in
sexy
hi-fashion
outfits
turns
de-glam
in
Atul
Agnihotri's
Hello.
The
actress
wears
only
salwaar-kameezes
in
the
film
designed
by
the
producer's
wife
(also
Salman
Khan's
sister
Alvira).
The
character
essayed
by
Arora
is
called
Radhika,
"She's
a
simple
and
shy
middle-class
girl,
who
is
completely
dominated
by
my
mother-in-law
and
husband
(Arbaaz
Khan).
I
do
everything
they
want
me
to
do,
as
I
cannot
defy
them.
Radhika
turns
into
a
gharelu
housewife
who
wears
salwar-kameez
even
though
she
works
in
a
trendy
call
center," reveals
Amu.
The
entire
look
and
styling
of
all
the
six
characters
including
Salman
Khan
has
been
done
by
Alvira
Agnihotri
and
Ashley
Rebello.
"The
de-glam
look
is
quite
unlike
what
I
have
done
before.
Initially,
I
was
a
bit
hesitant
but
Alvira
and
Atul
convinced
me.
Baby
(Alvira)
sourced
out
my
outfits
which
are
mostly
Lucknowi
chikan,
chiffons
and
Patiala
salwars
in
patchwork
with
short
kurtis
and
embroidered
dupattas." She
will
be
seen
sporting
sindoor,
bindis,
bangles,
and
a
mangalsutra.
Amrita
adds
that
though
she
can
relate
to
Radhika's
stress,
she
could
never
be
as
meek
or
subdued
like
her.
"With
me
what
you
see
is
what
you
get.
I
wouldn't
change
myself
for
anyone.
They
have
to
respect
me
for
what
I
am.
And
rather
than
resorting
to
pills,
I
would
talk
my
problems
through.
Radhika
is
a
far
cry
from
me!
I
am
a
chatty
person.
I
would
talk
the
issue
out
and
not
let
it
eat
me
up."
Alvira
Agnihorti
says,
"Amu's
look
was
conservative
yet
young,
so
we
had
one
main
look
brought
in
from
Lucknow
with
bigger
holes,
dyed
it,
gave
it
a
lining
of
contrasting
bright
colour
and
another
was
a
patiala
style
salwar
with
a
badla
where
a
bit
of
gotha
was
added.
Atul
said
it
must
show
that
Radhika
has
made
an
effort
to
fit
into
her
in-law's
environment."
