If
I
have
to
make
Devdas,
how
would
I
do
that?
Would
I
give
him
a
glass
of
'sharbat'
in
hands?
Also,
in
certain
scenarios,
you
have
to
depict
evil
with
certain
traits.
This
only
helps
in
building
a
story
graph
with
ultimately
good
winning
over
evil.

There
would
soon
be
a
time
when
a
character
would
have
to
go
off-focus
from
camera,
director
would
have
to
'somehow'
convince
the
audience
that
the
character
is
drunk
and
the
character
returns
and
acts
in
front
of
camera
like
he/she
is
in
a
drunken
stage.
Voila,
mission
accomplished!

I
agree
that
drinking
should
not
be
glamorized,
but
then
it
should
not
be
banned
either.
If
a
character
has
to
be
shown
to
be
carrying
certain
evil
traits,
should
we
replace
drinking
by
cocaine?
