Eesha unwraps her birthday gift

Eesha Koppikhar truly believes that Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi was a perfect birthday gift for her. Reason? She was narrated the subject of this Rajshri film on her birthday last year. So touched was she with the film's subject and storyline that she immediately said yes to the film.

"The movie just happened to me and that too on my birthday. It was such a perfect birthday gift. There are lists of film makers you wish to work with and Sooraj Barjatya is an obvious choice for the top spot. In fact I asked Soorajji, what made him so sure that I could perform the part of 'Chandni'," said Eesha.

And what did he say?

"Soorajji had apparently seen my films like Pinjar and also observed the look I carried in Darling. He really believed that I was a good fit and was quite clear in his mind how he wanted to project me in Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi. I am plain fortunate that I get to play a role like this in the film since earlier I never got an opportunity to reveal this facet of mine," she said.

Getting a little philosophical, she said thoughtfully, "I don't really ponder much about some of my earlier films that may not have worked. Hello worked, Darling didn't. Ultimately I love working; I am passionate about films. I don't think about what has happened in the past and what would happen next. I am a strong believer of '"Karmanyeva adhikarasya Ma faleshu Kadaachana". That's the 'mantra' of my life!"
