A scene from the film
Remember Pushpak, the internationally acclaimed silent movie which starred cin the lead roles and was released two decades back? The film's director Singeetam Srinivasa Rao won quite some accolades for himself after this tremendous effort and went on to make many more notable films like Appu Raja, Little John, Son of Alladdin and most recently Mumbai Express.

Now the film maker is back with his animation film Ghatothkach which is about this kid called Ghatothkach, fondly known as 'Ghattu', who is the prince of the forest and comes with extra ordinary powers. The film is about the special relationship he shares with 'Gajju', a baby elephant rescued by him and together they fight against evil forces with 'thodi masti - thoda magic'!

This 100 minutes long children's film has been dubbed in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam&Bengali and has been made in 2D and 3D animation. Produced by Shemaroo Entertainment (who also came up with a delightful Bal Ganesha last year) along withc, Ghatothkach has music by Pravin Mani and is aiming to hit the screens this summer vacation.
