Ashutosh
Gowarikar's
historical
epic
Jodhaa
Akbar
is
weeks
away
from
its
release.
But
the
Hritik
Roshan
and
Aishwarya
Bachchan
starer
movie
is
already
in
trouble.
Many
leaders
of
the
Rajput
community
have
alleged
that
historical
facts
have
been
distorted
in
this
romantic
tale
of
Mughal
Emperor
Akbar
and
Rajput
princess
Jodhaa
Bai.
The
leaders
have
also
threatened
to
stall
the
release
of
the
movie
across
Rajasthan.
The
leaders
would
first
watch
the
movie
and
then
allow
it
to
be
screened
across
the
state.
They
have
also
said
that
Jodhaa
Bai
was
one
of
the
many
wives
of
Jahangir
and
not
Akbar's,
adding
that
the
fact
was
misrepresented
in
K
Asif's
Mughal-E-Azam
too.
The
movie
had
earlier
run
into
trouble
with
the
Society
for
Prevention
of
Cruelty
to
Animals,
who
issued
a
letter
to
Gowarikar
asking
him
if
had
the
necessary
permission
for
using
animals
in
his
film.
The
movie
has
used
over
50
camels,
100
horses
and
about
80
elephants.
