Karan tying up with Ekta Kapoor!

The rumours of Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor tying the knot have been floating around for some time now. But the latest buzz is that the two production houses Dharma Productions and Balaji Films may tie up professionally very soon.

Sources inform, "Ever since Karan made a special appearance in Balaji Films C Kkompany he is keen on co-producing films with them. Ekta Kapoor has been the baroness of television serials but is not sure about the pulse of the audience when it comes to movies. Since Karan Johar has a list of hits to his credit, Ekta Kapoor is keen on co-producing films with him.

We checked with Karan Johar all about the hush hush wedding plans and he smiled and said, "The media is excited because she came on my show and said jokingly about tying the know. We have been good friends and have known each other for some time. There's no truth to the rumours."

But Karan did not rule out the professional tie-up though. "I hope that Balaji Film and Dharam Productions come together. Ekta has great business acumen and I can contribute on the creative front. May be in the near future we can do something," he said and signed off.
