Ravana: Blankets, Umbrellas for Ash's security

Director Mani Ratnam and his crew are keen in taking maximum effort to keep actress Aishwarya away from the prying eyes of fans and media. It is said that Aishwarya dons the role of Sita in Ravana and Mani Ratnam does not want to expose a single frame with costume. It is his usual practice not to release any pictures of his movies before the release. Other than the crew and artistes, nobody is allowed to enter or idle in the premises, even though curious spectators want to have a glimpse of Aishwarya. It is reported that she reports on location in the costume of a Tamil Brahmin lady.

Since the shooting is in a forest area, no cars could reach the site and they need to travel in jeeps. Arriving in cars, the stars get into jeeps for the final journey to the shooting spot. Even at this changeover point, Aishwarya is covered with a blanket or umbrella. The security staff covers her jeep with bedsheets. The security is so strict that there is no chance for a view. Aishwarya and Abhishek are staying in a resort beside the Aathirapilly waterfalls.
