Rock On: The winner takes it all

Even before the actual award season could head start, Excel Entertainment's & Big Pictures' Rock On has started rocking in its true sense. After receiving many accolades, proud producers Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar and BIG Pictures have got another feather to add in their already full hats. Recently the movie received two eminent awards; Anand Lok Star Purushkar for best film in Kolkatta and the path-breaking film of the year at the Star Sabse Favourite Kaun Award.

Rock On definitely is one of the most successful movies this year and has been appreciated by audiences and critics alike, and the awards have in a way reinforced the audiences' love for the movie.

An ecstatic Farhan Akhtar said, "Rock On has been a great experience, but what has been even more beautiful is the appreciation this movie has received. Rock On is a coming of an age film and I am more than glad that the critics as well as the audiences have loved this film so much. The Sabse Favourite Kaun award is symbolic of the love of the audiences; after all, what is better than receiving an award which has been chosen by the audiences itself."

The Library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences also has included Rock On script as a part of the Oscar Library.
