In
the
midst
of
all
the
push
and
pull
which
was
happening
around
the
final
set
of
Bollywood
films
eyeing
for
a
Diwali
slot,
Salman
Khan's
Heroes
has
taken
the
lead.
The
film
is
all
set
to
arrive
on
24th
October
and
the
promotion
would
kick
start
any
moment.
Confirms
a
source
attached
to
the
film,
"
Heroes
has
been
ready
for
some
time
but
we
wanted
just
the
right
time
for
it
to
arrive.
I
guess
the
weekend
preceding
Diwali
(which
falls
on
28th
October)
is
just
perfect
since
not
just
we
get
a
good
first
weekend
for
ourselves
(24th-26th),
we
also
can
take
advantage
of
holidays
which
fall
on
27th
and
28th.
A
5
day
long
weekend
should
be
good
enough
to
expect
a
bountiful
for
Heroes."
The
film
is
set
in
an
episodic
mode
and
apart
from
Salman
Khan,
also
stars
Sunny
Deol,
Bobby
Deol,
Mithun
Chakraborty,
Preity
Zinta,
Dino
Morea,
Sohail
Khan,
Amrita
Arora,
Riya
Sen
and
Vatsal
Sheth.
Produced
by
Samir
Karnik,
Bharat
Shah
and
Vikas
Kapoor,
the
film
is
directed
by
Samir
Karnik
himself
whose
Nanhe
Jaisalmer
released
last
year.
Earlier
titled
Mera
Bharat
Mahaan,
Heroes
is
a
story
of
two
boys
who
start
their
road
trip
from
Delhi
to
Chandigarh
and
then
Manali
to
Ladhakh.
On
their
journey
these
boys
come
across
certain
real
life
characters
played
by
Salman,
Preity
Zinta,
Sohail,
Sunny
and
Bobby
on
this
road
trip
and
these
people
have
such
an
affect
that
the
seed
of
heroism
blooms
within
them.
Basically,
the
story
is
about
this
drastic
change
in
the
lives
of
these
two
boys.
