Sanjay gets himself a BMW 5 Series

Actor-producer, Sanjay Kapoor recently bought himself a BMW 5 Series. Talking about it, Sanjay, who is currently shooting for his home production, Its My Life at Film City, says, "I needed a new car.

The BMW 5 Series is a good-looking car and drives smoothly, so I decided to buy it. I was always more of a Mercedes person and had that and a Honda but I needed a different car. So I bought the BMW 5 Series as a gift to myself."

Apart from his new car, Sanjay Kapoor is looking forward to the completion of his home production, Its My Life, directed by Anees Bazmee and starring Nana Patekar, Harman Baweja and Genelia D'Souza. Sanjay says, "It's basically a love story and a relationship between father and son.

While Nana plays the father Harman plays his son and Genelia his romantic interest. It's the remake of Telugu and Tamil super hits Bommarillu. Genelia had acted in both the Tamil and Telugu versions. I am very excited that Anees Bazmee is directing my film."

Sanjay will be seen acting in two films after a long time. He says, "Yes, I was busy starting my own production house, Sanjay Kapoor Entertainment Pvt Ltd. We have completed the first schedule in Norway. But during the time, Anees was completing Singh Is Kinng, I completed my acting schedules in Zoya Akhtar's Luck By Chance and Kumar Taurani's next, directed by Kookie Gulati."

Talking about his films, he says, "While Luck By Chance is a fun, tongue-in- cheek look at and about the film industry with Farhan Akhtar and Konkona Sen Sharma in the lead roles and has an ensemble cast of Rishi Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan and Juhi Chawla all playing film personalities, Kookie's films is an action-based film where I play a cop. Though I missed acting, it was a phase and an intentional thing as I was busy with production. It's been a great experience. Today Its My Life is my life!"
