Vinay-Ranvir ki Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi!

Jism, Khosla Ka Ghosla, Bheja Fry and Mithya, all these successful films besides being off beat and small–budgeted, had one factor in common, the highly entertaining pair of ace actors, Vinay Pathak and Ranvir Shorey. And though Vinay is sans Ranvir in SRK's Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, we take the liberty of borrowing the title for our story!

As is known both these stars had their initial taste of success in the telly world as Channel V's DJs. These funny men won lots of hearts with their dry wit and classy humour and became a known face on television. Thus their foray into the film world became easier. They were successful with almost all the films (mentioned above) that they have done together and that in itself is a record of sorts, the exception being Mixed Doubles. The only other successful pair in the parallel cinema that comes to mind is Naseeruddin Shah and Om Puri (though they have mostly been associated with serious cinema).

Good news for the numerous fans of the Ranvir–Vinay unbeatable 'jodi' is that the two will once again be seen in Vinay Pathak's very own Lemontea Productions and One More Thought's DASVIDANIYA, which is all set for a November 7 release. And with the promotion hotting up and the film peaking just at the right time, it looks like there is another win in store for the two talented actors, Ranvir and Vinay, 'Koi Shaque' (as Mithunda's famous on screen one liner goes!). Well no, infact none at all and it appears as if Vinay-Ranvir' ki 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi'!
