Aamir breaking vacation to vote

There is a saying “Good people let the bad people rule by not voting". Aamir Khan, the Perfectionist, is doing his bit not to let bad people get to power. He has gone all out to encourage the people to vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections while his counterparts are busy campaigning for a particular party or candidate.

After continuously shooting for 3 Idiots with Kareena Kapoor, he is currently on a vacation in North America with son Junaid and daughter Ira. So, will he come home to cast his vote? Yes, the actor is flying back to Mumbai on April 30 to cast his vote.

“Finally! I am on holiday with my children. After two years of working pretty much 24/7. Unfortunately Kiran is not with us as she is busy with her film. So I"m going to go off the map for the next two months folks. I think I needed a break in any case, as I was kind of not really there last couple months, if you know what I mean. So I will see you now in June. Or end May. Unless I start turkeying in which case I"ll drop a line. And once I"m back rested from my holiday I'll be much more connected," he wrote in his blog aamirkhan.com.

The actor also urges everyone to cast their votes. “To all Indians, remember to vote, and make an informed choice. Meaning, check out all the candidates from your area before you decide who to vote for," he wrote.

Let's hope Aamir pulls more crowd to the polling boots this year!
