In an interaction with the media the numero uno actress if the yesteryears said that the hardship for the actress still remain in the industry and not much has changed since her active days. She added that actresses still have to work very hard, make themselves look beautiful and put in lot of dedication to remain at the top with so much competition around.
On her career front Hema said she has signed two movie including one starring Nana Patekar which will be directed by Deepa Sahi. Hema also said that she was planning to revive her production business after a gap almost 17 years. She had last directed the movie Dil Aashna Hai starring Shahrukh Khan, Dimple Kapadia and Amrita Singh.
Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif might have taken lead over her as far as box office number are concerned but Aishwarya Bachchan seems to be still ruling hearts. Bollywood's original dreamgirl Hema Malini has said that Aishwarya is the only one who deserves the 'dreamgirl' tag among all the contemporary actresses.
