There
was
much
tamasha
at
the
FHM
awards
last
night.
On
one
side,
there
was
trouble
brewing
between
Yash
Birla
and
Vikram
Chatwal
and
on
the
other,
part
2
of
the
Sajid
Khan-Ashutosh
Gowariker
jhagda
was
being
played
out.
Arjun
Rampal,
who
was
at
the
function,
received
an
SMS
from
art
director
Bijon
Dasgupta
saying,
"It
is
disgusting
and
in
bad
taste
to
watch
hosts
(MOC)
of
Film
Award
Functions...
run
down
stalwarts...
in
their
shows
or
films.
We
totally
agree
with
Ashutosh
Gowariker,
when
he
asked
Sajid
Khan
2
shut
up.
A
Sajid's
Khan
film
or
talent
cant
be
compared
2
the
work
done
by
Ashutosh...
or
recent
film
makers
like
Neeraj
Pande...
Anurag
kashyap...
and
many
more.
We
need
2
condemn
this
cheap
toilet
humour..." Starting
Wednesday
morning,
many
people
in
the
film
industry
recieved
the
same
message
from
unknown
numbers.
In
the
evening,
Arjun
got
the
same
message
from
Bijon.
The
actor
called
and
reprimanded
him
for
sending
such
messages.
Bijon
retorted
that
he
was
sitting
with
Ashutosh
and
that
he
asked
him
to
send
the
message.
Rampal
advised
him
not
to
get
involved
in
matters
he
didn't
know
about."
Though
Arjun
Rampal
was
unavailable
for
comment,
Bijon
Dasgupta
says,
"It's
true
that
Arjun
called
me
and
nicely
asked
me
to
let
it
all
go
and
not
get
involved.
But
Ashu
didn't
ask
me
to
forward
any
message."
He
adds,
"The
matter
has
ended
as
Sajid
apologised
on
national
TV
on
Wednesday
night."
A
source
close
to
the
Khans
insists
no
apology
by
Sajid
had
taken
place.
"Sajid
on
Night
Out
(NDTV)
said
that
Ashu
and
he
have
been
friends
for
many
years.
At
the
end
Sajid
said
that
sometimes
sentiments
may
get
hurt
and
that
year
after
year
channels
hire
him
for
his
humour
and
if
things
do
go
wrong
and
he
hurts
someone
then
he's
the
first
to
apologise.
Then
he
looked
at
the
camera
and
said,
'Ashu,
I
hope
you're
watching
this.
I
love
you
and
I
know
you
love
me!' that's
all
Sajid
said."
That's
an
olive
branch
from
Sajid.
Will
Ashu
accept?
