“In fact I have always been an honest boy. My parents have brought me up that way. I have never lied or conned in my life and I want my kids to have the same upbringing. In fact, my teacher in school had told me. If you want to bunk school tell me the truth and bunk but if you ever lie to me; you have had it. I have worked hard since the age of 15 to reach where I am today," he adds further.
Arshad says that his honesty in life has in fact created a lot of problems. “I have fallen in trouble for my honesty. A lot of people dislike me because I am straight forward. I can"t be manipulative. A very prominent lady of the industry had once told me to keep my views to myself. Unfortunately I can"t control myself and I can"t lie."
“My wife Maria is a lot more like me. She will not manipulate her words to tell me certain things in life. I have made an honest film like Kaun Bola" Arshad concludes.
Arshad Warsi is playing the lead in Short Kut but the actor says he never believed in taking any shortcuts in real life.
