Ashish Choudhary can't ask for more

Ashish Choudhary faced his life"s biggest tragedy a few months back when he lost his sister and brother-in-law in the 26/11 terrorist attack. But like a brave man, Ashish, putting everything behind him, is back in action and things are looking much better for him than before.

He had shot into limelight after Dhamaal, a comic caper which brought to fore his comic abilities. But now apart from comic roles, he is also doing some serious parts. He has a few promising films on hand like Indra Kumar"s Daddy Cool, UTV"s Banda Yeh Bindaas Hai and Mukta Arts' Paying Guest. “I am looking forward to Indra Kumar"s next titled Daddy Cool. The film is close to my heart. It is a very funny film but surprisingly my character in the film is not funny. Mukta Arts' Paying Guest is once again a comedy with Javed Jaffrey and Shreyas Talpade and in UTV"s Banda Yeh Bindaas Hai I play a Bhojpuri character which is very funny," says Ashish.

While most of the films have been multi-starrers Vikram Bhatt"s Purple Lake will see Ashish in a solo hero role. “Yes this is my first solo film and I play a killer who has white, grey and total black shades to it. I am exploring myself now. I started my career with serials and I was not very popular. I wanted people to notice me and accept me. Until then I don"t think I can carry a film entirely on my shoulders. I think I am confident enough to take up solo project now," reveals Ashish.

“Fortunately my career has been on an incline. I am working with top banners and actors. I feel honoured now. I am happy with the kind of roles that are being offered. In fact I am doing Indra Kumar"s next which is a sequel to Dhamaal. What more do I need," he says and concludes.
