Govinda throws a surprise party for wife

Govinda had a surprise birthday bash for wife Sunita at Macau. Confirms the actor, "It was a surprise birthday party. It was an impromptu get together, more than a party. Some of our closest friends were present which include David (Dhawan), Zayed (Khan), Farah and DJ Aqueel Ali Khan and Riteish (Deshmukh). Our children Yashvardhan and Narmada were also with us."

It is learnt that as Vashu Bhagnani, Sushmita Sen and Lara Dutta had left on an earlier flight, Govinda couldn't invite them. The party was the actor's way of showing Sunita how special she is to him. He says, "It was my way of thanking the most wonderful and special woman in my life, but I am yet to gift her something. Narmada and Yash have already presented her with gifts. Yash has given Sunita a giant cuddly fluffy teddy bear.

Namo has given her a diamond ring. I guess the teddy bear reminds Sunita of me tabhi toh mujhse shaadi ki!" Chi Chi continues, "As there are lots of shopping malls in Macau, I am scared what they will pick for Sunita as a gift from me and how much money I will take back with me."

Chi Chi took care of all the details for the party. From arranging the music to a huge chocolate birthday cake which Sunita cut. "The party was in the room but after that we all went out to the casino where Nammo won a lot of money. I don't gamble. It was one of the best family get-togethers we had. But when I go back to Mumbai, I want to have a big party and invite everyone. I will time it along with the release of Do Knot Disturb. I couldn't invite Abhishek and Aishwarya for Sunita's party here, but for my Mumbai party I will invite them all, including Amitabh. It will be a huge honour for me."
