Imtiaz Ali wants to stop talking about Kareena

Director Imtiaz Ali is literally hurt and disappointed. The 'Kareena Kapoor factor' that haunts his latest film Love Aaj Kal is getting out of control. He said it is unfortunate that Kareena is a part of the film promotion even though she isn"t in the movie.

The young director said that people should stop this, as Kareena has been dragged for too long. But it may be recalled that Saif Ali Khan sparked the issue by admitting that he wanted to work with Kareena instead of Deepika Padukone. Imtiaz still keep his cast in high esteem, saying that Saif gets along with Deepika very well.

Dismissing any chance of casting Kareena in the film, Imtiaz revealed that the storyline of Love Aaj Kal was there in his mind even before the release of his debut film Jab We Met. He added that he was very sure of casting Deepika, as he thinks he fits the role perfectly. Deepika had earlier said that the film was offered to her even before her debut film Om Shanti Om.

Love Aaj Kal is all set for release tomorrow, 31st July.
