Jail first look to be unveiled at IIFA

We"ve heard of films being premiered at international film events. And we"ve heard of stars performing numbers from forthcoming films as promotional activity for their products. But ever heard of the lead pair taking part in a fashion show to promote film that has no songs or dances, and certainly nothing fashionable about it?

Madhur Bhandarkar is taking his lead pair Neil Nitin Mukesh and Mugdha Godse to Macau to walk the ramp at IIFA Awards 2009.

Explains Madhur, “Our film has no naach-gana. So we can"t have live performances to songs from the song. So Neil and Mugdha will walk the ramp at IIFA. Mugdha will be wearing a Gavin Miguel creation. Neil will be in a Narendra Kumar creation."

Neil said, “We"re showcasing the first look of Jail at IIFA. The event has set aside a ramp walk for the Jail team.." The Jail walk has a part of the film industry in splits..

Said a young actress, “Madhur is still suffering from a Fashion hangover. He has forgotten he"s making another film which has nothing to do with the fashion world."
