The success of Kambakkht Ishq is like a bonus for Kareena. She gave her best and shone amidst big names like Akshay Kumar, Sylvester Stallone, Denise Richards and Brandon Routh. Today, she is considered to be one of the most powerful stars in Bollywood but that doesn't make her work less. To her, power is not about making her every film work at the box office but about choosing the kind of films and roles according to her discretion.
Kareena said that she is a courageous girl who dares to take brave decisions, stay honest and hide nothing including her relationships. She added that she protects and worships her talent, which is like a temple. She also expressed her wish to act in films like Omkara, Chameli and Jab We Met and be known for her body of work - nothing else matters.
She has learned not to let success enter her head. She is working hard in spite of her good work in Kambakkht Ishq and is determined to do only challenging roles in the days to come.
Having made a good start to the year with Kambakkht Ishq, Kareena has a few promising films lined up for release. Her films like Main Aur Mrs Khanna with Salman Khan, Kurbaan with Saif Ali Khan and 3 Idiots with Aamir Khan are expected to hit the theatres in October and November. She is also expected to start shooting for Agent Vinod and Stepmom this September.
Nobody can stop Kareena at the moment!
Basking in the superb opening of her latest film Kambakkht Ishq, the bold and beautiful Kareena Kapoor is back on her own terms again. Believe it or not, she no longer runs after name and fame. All she wants is to be known for her roles, and nothing else matters.
