Life Partner release delayed in Mumbai, Pune

Film lovers in Mumbai and Pune cities will have to watch the much-awaited film Life Partner after three days of screening in the rest of the country. The Government of Maharashtra has banned screening of films for three days after swine flu gripped these cities.

With death toll due to swine flu touching 19, and more than half of them from Mumbai and Pune, the government has banned screening of films. It is not sure if the government will lift the ban even after three days.

Life Partner, a romantic comedy starring Govinda, Fardeen Khan, Tusshar Kapoor, Genelia D'Souza and Prachi Desai, is scheduled for release tomorrow, that is, 14th August. Abbas Mustan is the producer and Rumi Jaffrey is the director.
