Rani Mukherjee has stolen the hearts of the film lovers with her performance in Dil Bole Hadippa starring Shahid Kapoor. She plays a cricketer in one of her roles in the film, and for it she took lots of practice on the game from a reputed cricketer. She even got batting tips from Shahrukh Khan. But this talented actress is not taking up cricket in real life.

Has her role in Dil Bole Hadippa inspired Rani to bid for an Indian Premiere League (IPL) team? She said that there is no chance of buying an IPL team, as she has no money. She added that she can't take up such huge responsibility. She is happy what she is doing at the moment.

Bollywood actors have taken up cricket big time. Shahrukh Khan owns Kolkata Knight Riders alone with actress Juhi Chawla. Preity Zinta owns Kings XI Punjab along with Ness Wadia and Shilpa Shetty owns Rajasthan Royals along with boyfriend Raj Kundra. It was reported recently that Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan are also keen to bid for a team.

Well, Rani may not buy an IPL team but she has fallen in love with the game!
