Salman's Veer runs into trouble again

By By: Raymond Ronamai

Salman Khan is one actor who never runs out of controversies. He is in the news again for all the wrong reasons. This time, it is for cutting down trees.

Yes, Salman's film Veer has run into trouble for the second time. First, it was while shooting for the film at the Amer Fort near Jaipur that an accident happened. The wall of the fort collapsed, injuring over a dozen of people, and the producer ended up paying Rs.20 lakh to restore the damage. Now, an FIR has been filed against the makers of the film and its crew for illegal cutting of trees in Bikaner.

The pro-environment Bishnoi community has filed a complaint that the crew of the film Veer had cut down a few trees, including a Khejdi tree which is Rajasthan's state tree.

Looks like Rajasthan Court will act tough on the makers of Veer this time around!
