Shahrukh undergoes successful surgery

Thank God, Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan underwent a successful shoulder surgery at the Breach Candy Hospital yesterday. He is currently recuperating in the hospital and is expected to be discharged in a few days.

King Khan underwent an arthroscopic surgery under the guidance of Dr. Sanjay Desai, the orthopaedic surgeon at Breach Candy, Mumbai, for nagging pain in his left shoulder. He is said to be fine after the surgery. Close friends like Farah Khan were with him during the painful hours.

The hyperactive actor injured his shoulder while shooting for the film Dulha Mil Gaya. He went on to shoot for Karan Johar's My Name Is Khan in spite of the injury. He was supposed to go under the knife much earlier but he postponed it in order to promote his latest film Billu. He is expected to get back to work two to three months from now.
