Shlipa
Shetty
and
Raj
Kundra
have
made
sure
that
even
their
wedding
card
looks
royal.
It
has
been
made
by
Delhi
designer
Ravish
Kapoor.
Apparently
1000
cards
have
gone
out
for
the
reception
while
150
cards
have
been
dispatched
for
the
wedding
and
mehendi-sangeet
(only
to
family
and
friends).
Ravish,
who
has
been
designing
cards
for
almost
five
years
now,
got
a
call
from
Shilpa
and
Raj's
office
asking
him
to
come
to
Mumbai
for
a
meeting
regarding
a
card
design.
The
brief
given
by
Shilpa
and
Raj
was
that
they
wanted
a
simple,
classy
and
stylish
card,
which
made
a
statement.
Ravish
says,
"Initially,
I
met
with
the
whole
family
and
discussed
what
they
wanted
the
card
to
look
and
feel
like.
I,
then,
showed
them
some
concepts
and
they
gave
feedback
on
the
direction
they
wanted
to
go
in.
I
then
took
those
concepts
back
to
my
design
team
studio
and
we
created
the
card
based
on
that
first
meeting."
Shilpa
and
Raj
and
their
family
were
very
involved
in
the
design
of
the
card.
He
adds,
"They
asked
us
to
design
a
logo
with
their
initials
that
had
a
royal
crest-like
quality
to
it.
When
we
were
putting
the
finishing
touches
to
the
card,
we
felt
the
ribbon
enhanced
the
card's
overall
design
quality."Ravish
doesn't
want
to
comment
on
the
price
of
each
card,
which
is
valued
at
over
Rs
500
each
(approx).
