Shilpa Shetty wants Shamita to announce wedding date

Hadn't Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty said not long ago that she would not tie the knot this year? But like a bolt from the blue, she got engaged to her London-based businessman beau Raj Kundra last Saturday. And now, the wedding date has been fixed.

“I know everyone"s eager to know about the wedding date. All I can say is YES it"s been finalized and will make an official announcement as soon as I know when Shamita"s coming out!" she wrote on her blog. Shamita is currently taking part in the TV reality show Bigg Boss 3.

She knows that her little sister will be shocked to know about her engagement and is dying to show her dazzling ring. “As much as I wanted to have Shamita there during this special moment, I had to be considerate towards Raj"s family too… so for all those who wanted to know WHY I went ahead without Shamita – it was a difficult decision but this is the answer. I know Shamita will be shocked (she"ll kill me) but still be happy, that"s what family is about, and our LOVE is unconditional. Missed her more than words can describe but I"m sure she"ll understand! Can"t wait to show her my ring!!" she wrote.

Well, Shilpa, the news is spreading like wildfire that the wedding is taking place next month. Is that right girl?
