Shilpa begins new innings with Rajasthan Royals

This year, the scenario will be different for Shilpa Shetty, the winner of Celebrity Big Brother, is entering IPL with all her popularity and glamour.

Yes, Shilpa Shetty is going to give Shahrukh, Preity and Juhi a run for their money. She along with her boyfriend and business partner Raj Kundra have become co-owners of IPL team Rajasthan Royals by buying about 12 per cent of its stake, which amounts to $16.8 million (about Rs.80.6 crore). The valuation of the team, which was bought by Emerging Media for $67 million last year, has now gone up to around $140 million.

The Rajasthan Royals, which won last year's IPL tournament, is led by ace Australian spinner Shane Warne and comprises of big names like Graeme Smith, Shane Watson, Mohommad Kaif and Yusuf Pathan. This year, Shilpa Shetty is planning to add spice to the team besides hiring some big cricketers.

Shilpa said that she would help the team by providing her expertise in merchandising and music videos. Well, hyper-active Shahrukh and cute Preity have to give way to this hot and sexy lass!
