She adds, "Initially, we want to launch small-budget films because of the recession as people are wary of pumping in money. I want to make massy commercial films in the comedies or thriller genre as they are my comfort zones. Right now, we have finalised two comedy scripts. The next phase is to launch international though not festival films with India as the backdrop and a truly international cast and crew."
Will she or her sister Sameera be acting in their home productions? "No. As of now, there are no such plans. The idea is to be very objective. The worst way to compromise a project is if you sign up family without taking into consideration the needs and demands of the project."
Recently, Sushama was shocked by wedding rumours where she was married to a banker. "I think they must have got me confused with our elder sister Meghana who wed last year in Greece. I won't be getting married anytime soon. I don't have the time."
Sushama does admit to having a man in her life. "I do have a boyfriend. We've been dating each other since January this year. He's an architect from Mumbai but I can't give his name. He'll get annoyed. I have never dated anyone from the entertainment business. My guy will get psyched if I announce his name."
Sushama concludes, "I've also just finished work on a video with Jimmy Sheirgill called Tere Ishq Nachaya as well as DJ Suketu's new video Tere Jaisa Pyara as well as a stunt-based reality show that airs August-September. I am also toying with the idea of doing a Telugu film."
