Salman Khan must be extremely happy after his latest release Wanted was bombarded with good reviews. But the sad news is that it experienced an unwanted opening.
Wanted was expected to make a fantastic opening but it had a disappointing start. It's reported that FUN Cinemas had 100% percent occupancies in their Chandigarh and Ahemdabad chains for the first two shows. However, the average occupancy in Mumbai is only 50% and advance booking was weak too.
Wanted, the remake of Telugu film Pokiri, was expected to draw the masses to the theatres but that didn't happen on the opening day. However, it would pick up once again with Ramzan season coming to an end. Muslims, who have been abstaining from all sorts of entertainment this season, would now love to watch it provided the word of mouth is good.
Let's hope the film picks up in the next couple of days and rescue Salman from sinking!
