It all happened during the making of Farah"s much-hyped film Tees Maar Khan. The director approached the composer to compose an end credit song for the film but the latter turned it down bluntly, as he was not in the mood to stoop to that level.
“Farah did approach me for Tees Maar Khan but not for all songs. She wanted me to compose an end credit song which did not make sense to me. I have composed for her first film Main Hoon Na and have given such wonderful numbers. I have worked with her husband Shirish for his first film Jaaneman and as all know the songs are so popular. After having such wonderful chemistry you didn't take me for your two films and came to me for just one song?" Mumbai Mirror quoted Anu as saying.
However, Anu has not shut the door for the director. He is ready to work with her again in the future if she offers him a full film. “I love Farah and her films. If she approaches me for an entire film, I'll do it," he added.
Well, film lovers and music lovers would love Farah and Anu to work together!
