Amidst

the
International
Indian
Film
Academy
(IIFA)
awards
2010
is
going
to
be
a
star-studded
event
with
many
Bollywood
celebrities
preparing
to
fly
down
to
the
Island
country
Sri
Lanka.
The
film
festival
will
kick
start
tomorrow
(June
3)
at
Colombo
and
conclude
on
June
5.
Many
Indian
celebrities
like
Salman
Khan,
Lara
Dutta,
Riteish
Deshmukh,
Vivek
Oberoi,
Hrithik
Roshan,
Dino
Morea,
Boman
Irani
and
others
have
confirmed
their
presence
for
the
gala
event.
The
film
festival
will
also
see
performance
from
Sri
Lankan
beauty
Jacqueline
Fernandez,
who
has
entered
Bollywood.
A
charity
cricket
match
will
also
be
played
between
the
Indian
celebrities
and
Sri
Lankan
cricketers.
However,
some
big
Bollywood
names
are
going
to
give
it
a
miss.
The
news
is
doing
the
rounds
that
Amitabh
Bachchan,
the
brand
ambassador
of
IIFA,
has
decided
to
skip
the
event
following
protests
by
Tamilians,
who
are
against
holding
the
film
fest
in
Sri
Lanka
for
the
atrocities
meted
to
the
Tamilians
in
the
country.
It
is
said
that
besides
the
Bachchan
family,
big
names
like
Shahrukh
Khan,
Kareena
Kapoor
and
Arjin
Rampal
would
not
attend
the
event.
