Farhan Akhtar"s Karthik Calling Karthik will mark his excellence as an actor for the third time. However, Farhan believes that transition from direction to acting wasn"t a cake-walk, but his choice of films did help to easy out the creases in-between.

Speaking on his transition, multi-talented Farhan Akhtar says, “Its not easy for me, but the kind of films which I have done so far were exciting enough to ease out my work as an actor. Besides that, I worked with a new bunch of talent, they have new ideas and are also very clear in their approach of what they want to do, and that has also helped me a lot."

In Karthik Calling Karthik Farhan Akhtar plays an introvert character, the film also stars Deepika Padukone. The music of the film scored by the trio of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy is already a hit. The movie is slated to release on 26th Feb.
