Madhur
Bhandarkar
has
never
been
this
furious.
Usually
charmed
and
a
joyous
personality,
Bhandarkar
is
fumed
by
a
'news
break'
that
took
place
in
a
tabloid
that
proclaimed
that
he
was
all
set
to
begin
work
on
the
sequel
of
Chandni
Bar.
Not
just
was
he
supposed
to
have
approached
Tabu
for
the
film,
he
was
also
said
to
have
started
making
plans
with
the
film
beginning
soon
after
his
recently
announced
Dil
to
Bachcha
Hai
Ji.
"This
is
absolutely
baseless
and
people
should
not
speculate",
says
Bhandarkar
who
has
decided
that
from
here
on,
he
would
have
none
of
such
speculative
news
pieces
making
the
rounds."
What
is
indeed
concrete
though
is
that
Bhandarkar
has
no
plans
of
making
a
sequel
to
Chandni
Bar
or
any
other
film
in
years
to
come.
"I
don't
have
any
time
for
that.
I
am
busy
with
Dil
to
Bachcha
Hai
Ji
and
then
Heroine,
something
which
I
have
always
maintained.
Also,
I
don't
believe
in
sequels
and
if
at
all
I
attempt
one
then
I
would
make
a
thorough
announcement.
I
think
I
have
enough
new
subjects
in
mind
to
be
explored.
Let
me
exhaust
them
first",
continues
Bhandarkar
while
still
sounding
disturbed
by
the
entire
state
of
affairs.
The
piece
also
states
that
he
spoke
to
Tabu
for
hours
after
watching
Chandni
Bar
on
TV;
something
which
only
added
fuel
to
the
rumour.
"That's
unbelievable",
says
Bhandarkar
in
the
exasperated
tone,
"My
conversation
must
have
happened
6-8
months
back
and
all
I
had
shared
with
Tabu
was
some
nostalgia
around
the
experience
of
making
of
Chandni
Bar.
Who
else
was
there
in
the
call
to
listen
if
we
spoke
anything
beyond
that,
let
aside
firming
up
plans
for
our
next?
Please,
I
am
attached
to
the
actors
I
work
with
and
believe
in
being
in
touch
even
years
after
I
have
worked
with
them.
A
social/personal
conversation
should
not
be
accounted
for
being
a
business
preposition
in
the
making."
Guess
this
should
help
set
the
records
straight
and
allow
Bhandarkar
to
kick
start
work
on
his
Ajay,
Emraan
and
Omi
starrer
Dil
to
Bachcha
Hai
Ji
which
has
created
a
stir
of
sorts
in
the
industry
ever
since
it
was
announced
last
weekend.
"I
know",
Bhandarkar
gets
a
little
relaxed
here,
"I
guess
we
have
to
ignore
all
rumours
and
concentrate
on
some
real
and
happening
stuff
now."
