After pack-up, every night the actress works on the look of her character along with special make-up creator and applicator Greg Cannom. In the film, PC's character kills all her seven husbands.
Vishal was extremely impressed with Greg's work in The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button; for which he also won an Oscar. The director wanted Priyanka to look completely different in his film.
Adds an insider, "Vishal, being a stickler for perfection, didn't want any ordinary changes in Priyanka's make-up, but a drastic one and he was convinced Greg was the only man who could deliver. Vishal flew to Los Angeles and convinced him to take up the film. It's all quite hush-hush."
Once Greg was on, the director and PC would meet with him every evening for 5-6 hours and discuss various options for the look. "They would experiment, try on and discard various looks.
Greg also brought his technical team over and the actress had to patiently sit through the sessions even though she'd be exhausted after the day's shoot. Finally they zeroed in on a few looks which Greg is working on now and Priyanka will don when she starts shooting with Vishal."
Priyanka's spokesperson confirms that Greg Cannom is doing Priyanka's make-up in Saat Khoon Maaf and PC had been working on it every day in LA.
Priyanka Chopra is presently in the US shooting for Anjaana Anjaani, and she is simultaneously preparing for her next film Saat Khoon Maaf (earlier titled Ek Baata Saath) directed by Vishal Bhardwaj.
