the
environment
and
society.
She
is
recently
in
news
for
her
being
appointed
as
the
National
Brand
Ambassador
of
UNICEF
on
Tuesday.
Priyanka
feels
honoured
for
the
formal
opportunity
given
to
her
for
bringing
awareness
about
a
lot
of
issues
related
to
children.
Along
with
working
for
children
Priyanka
will
also
be
seen
as
the
Nation
Wide
Green
Ambassador
for
promoting
the
eco-friendly
campaign
in
India.
Mr.
Jairam
Ramesh,
the
Environment
and
Forests
Minister
of
India,
says
that
he
has
been
speaking
to
Priyanka
regarding
several
environment
friendly
campaigns,
which
would
take
place
on
a
national
basis.
There
are
projects
like
tiger
conservation
as
well
as
river
cleaning.
Priyanka
has
given
her
consent
to
carry
out
such
projects
further.
The
actress
is,
at
present,
the
green
ambassador
for
an
environment
campaign
kicked
by
Greenathon.
She
was
also
there
to
announce
Green
Awards.
Thus
we
can
see,
she
has
plunged
into
the
eco-friendly
and
social
activities.
She
said
that
it
feels
great
to
be
the
national
green
ambassador.
Other

Intergovernmental
Panel
on
Climate
Change
(IPCC)
chief
RK
Pachauri,
Prannoy
Roy
and
several
officials
from
Toyota.
