Raveena
Tandon
Thadani
also
joins
the
league
of
John
Abraham,
Pamela
Anderson,
Sir
Paul
McCartney,
and
Jackie
Chan
to
help
animals
by
taking
part
in
the
campaign,
'People
for
the
Ethical
Treatment
of
Animals'
(PETA).
Raveena
is
seen
in
a
new
advertisement
of
PETA.
The
actress
is
looking
stunning
in
the
ad
adorning
a
skinny
outfit
that
resembles
a
snake's
skin.
She
is
lying
in
a
pool
of
blood.
The
ad
promotes
the
words,
“
Wearing
Exotic
Skins
Kills.
Leave
Wildlife
Out
of
Your
Wardrobe."
Raveena's
attire
was
designed
by
Karishma
Trehan
and
the
advertisement
was
shot
by
photographer
Aninash
Gowariker.
Raveens's
main
intention
behind
the
advertisement
is
to
make
consumers
aware
of
the
sufferings
of
the
snake,
alligators
and
other
exotic
animals
go
through
before
their
skins
are
made
into
luxurious
products.
Snakes
are
usually
nailed
to
trees
and
are
skinned
alive.
After
the
animals
adulterated
bodies
are
discarded,
it
takes
hours
for
them
to
die.
Alligators
are
crushed
into
small
spaces
and
then
are
hammered
to
death
so
that
their
skin
can
to
used
to
make
shoes,
clothes,
etc.
The
actress
says
that
wearing
shoes
and
clothes
and
other
accessories
made
of
the
skin
of
these
exotic
animals
is
a
very
cold
blooded
act.
She
adds
that
these
days
we
can
find
wild
kingdom
of
fake
snakes
and
pythons
that
pay
tribute
to
the
beauty
of
these
animals
without
making
them
fashion
victims.
