RGV's Rakta Charitra in censorship trouble

Seems like the Censor Board (CB) has decided to up its ante when it comes to derogatory remarks and violence in movies. The latest target of CB is the much-talked-about film by Ram Gopal Varma titled Rakta Charitra, starring actor Vivek Oberoi. The film has run into problems courtesy its posters.

The posters of his upcoming film which have encountered the censor board's ire as it mentions a quote from the epic Mahabharata. The censor board has objected to the 'quote' from the epic, which reads, 'Revenge is the purest emotion' - Mahabharata. The censor board in Hyderabad objected to this and asked the producers of the film, Cinergy and Ram Gopal Varma, to remove this supposed reference to the Mahabharata.

While, the censor board has requested the removal of the quote, it is interesting to know that all the poster have already been designed and distributed. Now, if the producers decide to change the posters then it will surely add up to their cost.
