One
look
at
a
film
title
like
Jaane
Kahan
Se
Aayi
Hai
and
it
is
apparent
that
the
film
has
a
strong
'female'
angle
to
it.
While
one
can
sense
that
the
makers
of
the
film
are
going
all
out
in
establishing
the
character
played
by
Jacqueline
Fernandez,
who
plays
the
role
of
a
lovable
alien
from
Venus,
one
wonders
if
the
film's
lead
actor
Riteish
Deshmukh
was
comfortable
with
the
idea
of
working
in
a
'woman
oriented'
film?
After
all
there
have
been
quite
a
few
films
in
the
past
where
he
has
played
the
central
character."Par
yahan
par
bhi
kehna
waala
to
ladka
hi
hai
naa",
winks
Riteish
in
a
mischievous
tone
while
dismissing
the
insinuation,
"Yes,
you
do
say
that
'jaane
kahan
se
aayi
hai'
but
the
remark
is
made
by
the
hero.
Jokes
apart,
there
isn't
anything
like
the
film
being
woman
oriented
or
man
oriented.
It
is
a
story
of
a
pair
which
is
made
of
a
boy
and
a
girl
from
two
different
worlds."Right
from
Day
One
of
the
film's
promotion,
it
has
been
evidenced
that
quite
a
lot
of
emphasis
has
been
on
Jackie's
character.
Whether
it
is
the
talkie
promo
or
the
songs
which
are
currently
on
air,
there
is
Jackie
all
over.
Yes,
the
response
from
audience
has
been
quite
positive
so
far
but
does
Riteish
ever
feel
sidelined
in
the
entire
campaign?"Come
on,
when
you
have
an
alien
girl
as
the
USP
of
the
film,
it
makes
complete
sense
to
get
that
point
across",
says
Riteish
with
genuine
care
for
the
product
in
hand,
"The
film
is
being
promoted
in
just
the
right
manner
that
it
should
be.
It
is
correct,
truly
apt
and
only
working
positively
for
the
film.
Ultimately
audience
should
step
into
theaters
and
for
that
it
is
imperative
that
Jackie's
character
is
known
to
people
much
in
advance.
"While
Riteish
has
worked
in
quite
a
few
films
over
last
7
odd
years,
Jackie
is
just
one
film
old."All
of
that
doesn't
matter",
Riteish
continues
to
stick
to
his
team's
vision,
"The
makers
have
taken
the
right
decision
by
having
Jackie
all
over.
See,
if
the
promotion
revolves
just
around
an
established
guy,
the
entire
focus
may
just
shift.
Audience
expectation
may
also
change.
We
have
seen
a
number
of
films
like
this
when
someone
quite
important
to
the
film
misses
out
on
reaching
out
to
audience
before
the
release.
We
definitely
don't
want
that
to
happen
in
'Jaane
Kahan
Se
Aayi
Hai' since
the
film
is
a
love
story
and
audience
should
know
that
which
are
the
two
actors
who
form
a
pair."In
the
film,
Riteish
plays
a
young
man
who
is
unlucky
in
love.
However,
just
when
he
is
about
to
give
up,
a
girl
from
Venus
lands
in
his
arms
(well,
literally)
and
from
there
on
begins
her
search
of
true
love.
