Sajid Khan gets John Abraham as birthday gift

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala gifts his Housefull 2 director Sajid Khan a hatke gift on his 39th b'day. We have heard of unusual gifts but this one takes the cake, the icing and the cherry on top!

John Abraham is producer Sajid Nadiadwala's birthday gift to director Sajid Khan, as he had been dreaming of working with the actor for a long time. Khan turns 39 today.

John has been zeroed in as one of the main characters in Khan's next Housefull 2 besides Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Arjun Rampal and Boman Irani.

Says the director, "I want to make Housefull 2 a bigger film than the first one, which raked in 200 crore. Adding John to the cast makes it the best birthday gift for me and my film even bigger and better. I have known him since the last 12 years ever since his Gladrags days. He and I are both half-Parsis and have gone on shows to Hong Kong and the Rockstar world tour.

“Akshay and he share a great chemistry after Garam Masala. They are very comfortable with and like each other. Moreover, John has a huge fan base with girls which we will use to the fullest extent."

So do we get to see JA wearing swimming trunks again? Sajid says, "I'll make sure that we show everything the audience wants to see!"

Sajid's throwing a birthday party at Riteish Deshmukh's Juhu home tonight for his Housefull friends which include Boman Irani and his wife, Akshay and his wife, Arjun Rampal and his wife Mehr Jesia, Chunky and Bhavna Pandey, Farah Khan and Shirish Kunder and John too.

Though Deepika Padukone is expected to be there, Lara Dutta and Jiah Khan won't, as they are out of town. "It's a small get-together with just 12 close friends and family.

I am throwing the party at Riteish's home because my hall is being painted. Chunky is in the sequel too, as he's got a fan following after Aakhri Pasta. I plan to give my first draft of Housefull to my producer Sajid Nadiadwala tomorrow."

Khan starts Nadiadwala's film early next year. "I will start Housefull 2 in May next year and then Vashu's film in December. While we shot Housefull in Italy and London, we plan to shoot Housefull 2 in France, Mexico, London and the streets of Mumbai. Housefull 2 is a brand new story with 12 principal characters in it."
