Shahrukh's wax figure at Times Square

By By Raymond Ronamai

Bollywood Baadshah Shahrukh Khan had a very unpleasant experience in the US before the release of his film My Name Is Khan. He was frisked and detained for hours together at the airport by the security personnel, which hit the headlines. He had expressed his displeasure on the incident. But ironically, he will be immortalised in the US in the form of his wax figure.

Shahrukh's wax will join the famous personalities at the famed Madame Tussauds at Times Square in New York. The wax will be unveiled tomorrow with a Bollywood dance troupe performing to the soundtrack from My Name Is Khan. The DVD of the film will also be released at the event.

In the wax figure, the actor is dressed in a sleek black suit and white button down shirt with a replica of the Taj Mahal in the backdrop. He is the latest addition to the Bollywood Zone of the Madame Tussauds at Times Square.
