Bryan
Adams
will
return
to
rock
India
again
from
February
12-16
next
year,
five
years
after
his
2006
tour
of
the
country.
This
time
around,
we
have
Mana
and
her
husband
Suniel
Shetty
to
thank
for
bringing
our
favourite
rocker
back.
Says
a
source,
"Mana
along
with
her
siblings
Rahul
Kadri
and
Isha
Mehra
run
the
NGO,
Save
The
Children
India
Foundation.
It
was
while
discussing
about
how
to
raise
funds
and
create
awareness
for
the
foundation
that
Anna
came
up
with
the
idea
of
roping
in
international
celebrities
to
put
together
live
shows
in
different
cities
of
India.
“Suniel
approached
his
friend
Sujit
Jain
from
Netsurf
Entertainment,
who
got
in
touch
with
Richard
Coram,
Bryan
Adams'
tour
producer
(runs
the
company
The
Talent
Brokers)
and
the
deal
was
finalised."
Annual
event
Suniel
himself
is
the
brand
ambassador
of
Save
The
Children
(STC).
"He
is
also
associated
with
the
event.
Anna
is
extremely
proud
that
an
NGO
like
theirs
is
attached
to
the
event.
Thanks
to
Bryan
Adams,
small
towns
like
Mahad
will
come
to
know
about
STC."
The
source
informs
that
this
won't
be
a
one-off
event.
“Sujit
and
Suniel
plan
to
make
this
an
annual
event
where
they
will
bring
down
international
performers
to
India
for
live
shows.
There
will
be
different
concerts
held
all
over
India
to
create
awareness
for
Save
The
Children,
especially
among
the
youth."
Having
said
that,
the
Bryan
Adams
concert
tour
is
not
a
charity
event.
There
will
be
a
VIP
lounge
and
donor
passes
will
be
available.
A
percentage
of
the
proceeds
from
the
sale
of
the
passes
will
go
to
Save
The
Children.
The
tour
flags
off
in
Pune,
then
moves
to
in
Mumbai,
on
to
Bangalore
and
New
Delhi
and
lastly,
Hyderabad.
The
Bryan
Adam
World
Tour
Indian
Edition
will
be
officially
announced
at
an
event
today
at
a
five-star
in
Mumbai.
