Aamir Khan is one actor who is slowly but surely making his way into the international film circuit. The actor has now been invited to be on the jury of the 61st Berlin Film Festival next month.
The seven-person jury, headed by Italian-American actress Isabella Rossellini, is tasked with selecting the winners for the coveted Golden and Silver Bear prizes in the festival that will take place between February 10 and 20.
Australian film producer Jan Chapman, German actress Nina Hoss, Canadian filmmaker Guy Maddin, British costume designer Sandy Powell and Iranian director Jafar Panahi are also part of the jury.
In all, the Berlin Film Festival will feature 22 films in its main programme including 16 in the running for the festival's prizes.
