Aamir Khan postpones Dhoom 3 release to 2013

Superstar Aamir Khan has delayed the release of his next movie Dhoom 3, which was earlier scheduled to hit the screens during Christmas in 2012. Now, the much-anticipated Bollywood film will grace the theatres in 2013. According to reports, it was postponed due to the production and post-production works.

The shooting of the film Dhoom 3 will begin from the end of November in 2012. Producer Aditya Chopra and director Victor a.k.a Vijay Krishna Acharya have decided to delay the release after consulting with Aamir Khan. "While the shooting will finish in time, we expect the post-production to take much longer...did not want to compromise on the quality of the film just to meet the release date," Victor told the PTI.

However, the third installment in the Dhoom series, Dhoom 3 is being produced under the banner Yash Raj Films. Aamir Khan is playing a negative character, while Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will reprise their roles like Jai and Ali. Katrina Kaif will star opposite Aamir Khan.
