Actor-filmmaker
Aamir
Khan
will
soon
be
seen
dancing
in
an
item
number
in
his
upcoming
release
Delhi
Belly.
He
told
that
his
performance
is
a
tribute
to
the
Bollywood
legends
who
had
rocked
the
disco
era
of
80's.
"I
am
paying
a
tribute
to
those
Bollywood
legends
who
had
rocked
the
disco
era
in
the
80's.
It
is
my
tribute
to
Mithunda,
Govinda,
Amitji,
Anilji
and
Rishiji
who
were
ruling
the
era," Aamir
told
reporters
after
unveiling
the
first
look
of
his
item
song,
'I
hate
you..'
Aamir
informed
that
he
has
incorporated
the
styles
and
steps
of
these
legends
in
the
dance
number
which
has
been
choreographed
by
Bosco.
"I
have
copied
Amitji's
hairstyle,
Govinda
and
Mithunda's
dance
style.
Hair
on
my
chest
is
from
Anilji
and
the
dressing
is
an
amalgamation
of
all," he
added.
Though
this
was
Aamir
Khan's
first
ever
item
number,
the
actor
was
quite
at
ease
while
performing
for
the
song.
"I
was
quite
comfortable
while
doing
it
and
enjoyed
it
very
much.
It
took
me
one
day
to
rehearse
it.
This
is
the
first
ever
item
number
I
have
performed
and
I
don't
mind
doing
it
again," he
told.
Aamir
also
added
that
his
wife
Kiran
Rao
encouraged
him
to
take
up
the
song.
When
asked
if
the
item
song
will
be
as
popular
as
'Munni
badnam
hui'
and
'Sheila
ki
jawani'
the
actor
told
that
it
depends
on
the
audience.
The
actor
also
informed
that
he
approached
almost
all
B-Town
girls
for
the
song
but
none
of
them
responded
back.
Ram
Sampath
has
composed
the
music
for
the
song
written
by
lyricist
Akshat.
